Kyra minturn

 Kyra Minturn, born August 19 1965, is an American actress. She also works as a producer and director. Her leading role on the crime drama TNT The Closer as Deputy Chief Brenda Leigh Johnson is her most well-known. Sedgwick was awarded an Emmy Award in 2010 and she also won a Golden Globe Award for 2007 for her portrayal of Johnson. The show ended on August 13th, 2012 after the conclusion of the seventh season. Sedgwick is also well-known for her regular role as Madeline Wuntch on the sitcom Brooklyn Nine-Nine. Sedgwick was awarded a Golden Globe nomination for her performance as Madeline Wuntch in Something to Talk About (1995). Sedgwick's film credits include Oliver Stone's Born on the Fourth of July (1989), Cameron Crowe's Singles (1992), Heart and Souls (1993), Phenomenon (1996) The cooking (2000), Secondhand Lions (2003), The Game Plan (2007) as well as The Possession (2012). Sedgwick was one of the New York City native, the daughter Patricia Rosenwald (nee Rosenwald), teacher and family therapist as well as Henry Dwight Sedgwick VI, the venture capitalist. Her mother, who was Jewish, was of English and Episcopalian descent. Sedgwick has publicly declared her Jewish heritage and said that she is a part of Passover seders.
