Jennifer Rene Psaki

Jennifer Rene Psaki is a American political advisor who was the 34th White House news secretary between 2021 and 221. She is a part of the Democratic Party and previously served as the White House deputy Press Secretary (2009) and the White House deputy Communications Director (2009-2011), the spokesperson for the US Department of State (2013-15) and as the White House communications direct (2015-17). Psaki was a political contributor to CNN from 2017 through 2020. Her career in politics began in 2001 when she worked on behalf of the reelection campaigns for Tom Harkin, an Iowa Democratic candidate running for the U.S. Senate. Psaki was later appointed as deputy press secretary to John Kerry's presidential campaign in 2004. Psaki was also the director of communications for Joseph Crowley (U.S.) as well as the regional press secretary for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. In 2012, Psaki returned to political communications, serving as press secretary to President Obama's 2012 reelection campaign. [20] Psaki was appointed spokesperson for the United States Department of State in February 2013. 20 years ago, she was employed at the Department of State to fill the White House Press Secretary Jay Carney's position.[21However, Josh Earnest took his spot on May 30, 2014. The White House welcomed her back to the White House in 2015 as the director of communications. she remained there until the conclusion of Obama's presidency.
